ze paperz

I have tried to not burn any bridges while trying to get this mess with my paperwork straightened out. I think it may have been inevitable given the situation. Well, I'm changing fields so hopefully no real permanent damage was (or will be) done.

This is the second major issue this year regarding me and paperwork. I can't help but wonder if there is some symbolism or message I should take from all this...

It's windy and damp and cold. It was snowing this morning, the snow was coming in almost vertically it was so windy! It didn't stick on the ground though.

Truly could use an extra week to finish up everything.

I'm glad I'm back in the land that usually gets snow. However, at the moment, I'm just working on getting to the point where I can wear a winter hat. Geez, I grew my hair out for this, and I got nada!

I'm pining just for some *cool* weather. It's supposed to get into the low thirties over the weekend, though.

Yeah, I'd like and extra week to finish things up. I have a prof who's openminded to incompletes, but me taking more time to finish the paper wouldn't make it any better. So I'm just going to try to make her deadline. It will be the longsest stand-alone paper I've ever written.

Going to be 27 here tomorrow but of course, we'll never get snow. Oh btw, I was in your old apt. Saturday night - I told you some friends moved into your exact one.

It's 45 here, but 21 mph winds that make it feel much colder (plus the rain). I should get a winter hat. But I think I'm going to hack off all my hair again. Sorry to hear that your paperwork has been such a frustration. I'm trying to stay as blissfully ignorant about the procedures over here for as long as I can, just because the idea of going before a panel at least twice a year gives me the willies.
